Faith Working Through Love

Bob Miller - Pastor for Evangelism/Outreach

Bob joined Grace Baptist in its early stages because he wanted to be part of a church that had a gospel-centered vision, expository teaching of God’s Word and a literal interpretation of loving each other as the New Testament church did. He has a strong desire to follow Jesus’ command in Matthew 28 to make disciples. He believes in displaying the supremacy of God in all things and declaring the glory of God to our communities and to all the nations. Bob is the Pastor of Evangelism and Outreach, and he teaches during the Praise and Prayer Worship Service on the 4th Thursday of each month. He teaches One Degree classes for the teens on Sunday morning and hosts a Community Group in his home. He is also involved with Launch Pad at Parma High School.

Bob and his wife, Karen, were born and raised in New Jersey. God moved them to Idaho in 1995 so that Bob can work in full-time youth ministry as a Youth Leader and Christian Education Coordinator and as a part-time Young Life leader. He has also served in prison ministries. Currently he is a Correctional Officer in Ontario, Oregon. He enjoys studying theology and the original languages of the Bible at Charnock in Payette, Idaho. His other favorite things to do are spending time with his family, teaching self-defense, and reading books that challenge him to focus on and follow Jesus more intentionally and intensely. His favorite authors/teachers are John Piper, Francis Chan, and David Platt. He has a heart for the persecuted church and helping disabled and special needs children. Bob and Karen have one biological daughter and five adopted children. They have lived in Fruitland, Idaho for 11 years.
